It’s simple! On Tuesday, December 1, donate to your favorite cause or charity. Then post about giving on social media, informing others of your choice and encouraging them to participate in their own way. Since its inception in 2012, #GivingTuesday has contributed to a 470% increase in online donations on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving! Join the movement and be a part of this global generosity celebration!

We’re promoting #GivingTuesday on all of our social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), as well as our website and sending emails via SnapRetail. I am also approaching local businesses to see if they can donate a percent of sales for that day.
With organizations like ours (smaller non-profits that do not receive state or federal funding,) days like this can make a big difference. This allows people to donate any amount from anywhere!
