Traditional Latin Mass
& Potluck Dinner
The Traditional Latin Mass this month will be offered by Fr. Canisius Tah from the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City. Please join us for a meditative low Mass at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 30th with another fun potluck following in the conference room. Father's Day is for Fathers of all kinds!
What a perfect time to let your spiritual father know how much you appreciate everything he does for you. Here's how:
- Have a Mass offered for him!
- Purchase an image of the Sacred Heart for your home and ask him over to dinner to bless it! More about this devotion is here.
- Give him some "fun money," a Gift Certificate to Our Lady's Center to use along with his regular priest discount of 20%.
- Send a card with a spiritual bouquet blooming with Masses, rosaries and novenas.
- Fill a gift basket with Mystic Monk Coffee, a CD, a book, and a great Catholic mug!

Vocation Prayer Warriors Needed!
Sign up to host the Traveling Statue of Our Lord's Face and a Blessed Chalice for a two-week period. When you receive the statue and chalice, simply arrange them in a special place in your home (a table, mantle, or home altar), then make a concerted effort to pray daily for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. We provide many pamphlets and prayer aids as well. Dates are still available in June and July, so come in to the book store and sign up!

Oh Baby, Do We Have an Announcement to Make!
Former Manager Theresa and husband Richard are the proud parents of a new baby boy, Victor Joseph, born on Saturday, May 17th. Although a full two months premature, he is doing well, Praise God. As to be expected, he must stay in the neonatal unit for a time. The proud parents are eternally grateful to each one of you who prayed for a safe delivery and a healthy mother and child. Join us in wishing this beautiful new family many blessings and all the joy their hearts can hold. God is so good!

A Lovely May Crowning of Our Lady
|
|
|
|
Our Lady's Center hosted a May Procession & Crowning of the Blessed Mother on May 13th in honor of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima, with Fr. Canisius Tah presiding. Recent First Communicant Nathaniel Kubik crowned the Blessed Mother with a lovely crown of flowers crafted by Eliana Ayoub. Katherine George, the niece and Goddaughter of Manager Christine, cantered and sang a solo Ave Maria. The A-frame and grounds were beautifully decorated and landscaped by Ada Vergne and the Ayoub family. Many thanks to all who pitched in to make this event so uplifting and memorable!

Proud to Be an
American!
Guess who just officially became a citizen of the United States! On April 15, Fr. Canisius Tah took the Oath of Citizenship. May God bless America through her newly adopted son and rekindle through his humble work a thirst for true righteousness in all her children. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, hear our prayer!

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
"O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen." -- from www.Catholic.org
