One of the Easiest Valentine's Day Desserts
|

~~YOU MELT MY HEART ~~
This scrumptious Valentine's dessert
is perfect to share with your loved ones. You can personalize them with a note attached to a toothpick or cake decorating supplies!
Kitchen Items Needed
parchment paper
cookie sheet
heart shape cookie cutters
spatula
Ingredients
1 container lemon sorbet
(or your favorite sorbet or icecream)
option: 1 lemon peel grated
option: Sprigs of basil or mint
1 container of strawberries - sliced
1 container of raspberries
1 pomegranate
option: blueberries

Directions:
Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet
Add heart shape cookie cutters on top
At least four hours in advance
Soften 1 container of lemon sorbet
Option to stir in finely grated lemon peel
Spread inside cookie cutters
Place in freezer until serving.
Stir together strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds. Refrigerate until frozen.
Remove sorbet hearts right before serving.
Push them out on to the dessert plate
Top or surround with fruit and mint or basil.
Other options: Before you make the sorbet hearts, use the cookie cutters to shape your favorite cookies into hearts, bake and cool. Then sandwich sorbet heart in between two cookies to make a heart shaped ice cream sandwich. |
