All Souls Day Memorial Mass
Saturday, November 2nd, 10:30 noon
We shall remember and pray for our loved ones who have passed on and especially remember the souls of all the patrons and benefactors who supported OLC through their time, talent and treasure throughout these past 50 years. The official name of this Mass is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, a day of remembrance. On this important day we Catholics pray, celebrate Mass, visit cemeteries, and give alms in memory of those who may be in Purgatory, in hopes that their souls will be released to Heaven. Come anytime this month to add your loved ones' names to our book of remembrance which will be placed on the altar at Mass on All Souls Day.

A Glorious First Mass in the Beautified Chapel!
What a wonderful way to open up the newly renovated Chapel, with a special Mass on the Feast of the Exultation of the Holy Cross concelebrated by three priests! Along with Fr. Jude Sango and Fr. Joseph Tata, we were delighted to welcome back an old friend, Fr. Michael Niba, who was visiting from Cameroon. About 80 patrons joined us for Mass, veneration of the Relic of the True Cross and Eucharistic Adoration.
Afterwards, Fr. John McHale gave a presentation on the apparition of Our Lady of Sorrows in Kibeho, Rwanda, as that day was the vigil of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Seven Sorrows Rosary is prayed in the Chapel on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 11:00 am.
We are so very happy to be back in our chapel, and so grateful to all of you to help make all of this possible! Thank you for your generous support.

Before & After
17 years ago, when Our Lady's Center rose from the ashes of a devastating fire, we had intended at some point to make the Chapel a more elegant environment in which to worship. With the completion of this chapel renovation project, we now finally feel like Our Lady is being more properly honored. Honoring Our Lady is deeply pleasing to her Son, Jesus Christ. This is of course our ultimate goal, to glorify Our Lord above all else. Come visit our lovely chapel as soon as you can! We are back to our regular schedule of daily noon Masses, Friday adoration and evening Mass, and First Saturday Masses.

Fr. Gerard Celebrates his 50th Jubilee
Another blessed event took place on the Feast of the Exultation of the Holy Cross. Our dear Fr. Gerard Lynch celebrated 50 years since his ordination! The Mass was at St. Michael's Poplar Springs, where he would often celebrate Mass. In attendance were his sister and brother-in-law from New Jersey, a number of fellow Trinitarians, and many friends, including our President, Jack Kissane and wife Grace, and Mgr. Christine and husband Shawn (celebrating 33 years of marriage that same day). Fr. Gerard was deeply touched by the turnout and all the heartfelt messages of love and prayers that we delivered from many of you. He asks for your continued fervent prayers as he battles cancer and awaits with joyful anticipation, a marvelous cure, God willing.
