Thanks to those who came to help us sew some quilt tops at our Girls Night Event last Saturday... we finished one and have another in process. It was fun to visit while we sewed!
Once the quilts are completed, we're planning to donate them to the Refugee Support organization in Davis County.

Do you have an old quilt that has sentimental value? Maybe you have a memory quilt that was made from your grandmother's old house-dresses or perhaps a favorite blanket from someone's childhood? You might not want to keep using these quilts for any number of reasons, but wonder what to do with them.
Here's an idea: |

This darling elephant was made from an old quilt that had been well used to the point of being thread-bare in some places.
It has now been re-purposed and can continue to be loved in it's new form.
Hint... this would be a great Christmas gift for someone whose child has out-grown a favorite blanket, but can't quite let go!
(sometimes that would be the mom.)

Big Belly Elephant is a easy stuffed animal to make out of those old worn and beloved quilts that need a second chance at life. This pattern includes two sizes.

Big Belly Bear is made from quilts that have seen better days. Or maybe a newer quilt that needs a new life as a bear. Easy pattern in 2 full sizes - you don't need to do any sizing.
