Beginner's Stained Glass - Copper Foil
Instructor: Jim Berry

Students learn the basics of the art of stained glass including glass cutting techniques, design considerations, copper foil construction, soldering and framing a stained glass panel.
Students will complete a copper foil project. We have many patterns to choose from, or you can supply one of your own (subject to approval).
Tuition: $160
(Tools and materials are not supplied. Glass, tools and supplies will run approximately $300-$400 and are available at Blue Moon. These expenses will be spread out over the 6 weeks) If you have your own tools, please bring them to class.
One day a week on Tuesdays, from 6:30-9:00pm for 6 weeks.

Students will complete a lead panel with a cool abstract pattern which is provided, but using your own stained glass that you have selected.
Tuition: $160

Stained Glass Feathers

|
Get an introduction to copper foil stained glass construction while making a fun and colorful feather sun-catcher. In this 3 1/2 hour workshop, you will learn basic glass cutting, foiling and soldering. Then, for a unique extra touch, add a few colored Czech-glass beads if you like. This is also a good way to "try your hand" at stained glass to see if you want to advance on to the complete 6-week class.
Tuition: $95
All materials provided, with some beautiful glass to select from!

Stained Glass Art Strips
Instructor: Sarah Elton and Jim Berry

|
|
|
|
Get an introduction to leaded stained glass construction and a few little twists while making a gorgeous stained glass art strip that you hang!
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to make simple glass cuts, frame in lead, and solder. You get to select from a large selection of 3" wide pieces of beautiful stained glass, and then choose glass embellishments to make it truly a one-of-a-kind! Your finished panel's length will be about 21" long, and you will be shown how to solder hangers at the top.
All tools and supplies are provided.
