Harborfest is a celebration of Southwestern Michigan's unique maritime history and will incorporate the Mermaid Megafest into this year's activities! Activities kickoff Friday at Noon and will include food, crafts, kids activities, dragon boat races, pirate duels, and of course, mermaids.

The Mermaid Megafest is a three-day celebration of merfolk on a mission to save our water wonderland. Mermaids from around the world will gather to deliver the message on how vital it is to protect our natural freshwater resources. And it's not
just for mermaids - mermen and merkids, along with sailors and nefarious pirates,
will be everywhere!

Pedal Across Lower Michigan
This year, Pedal Across Lower Michigan (PALM), which always begins along the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan and heads east along a different route from the previous years, will be starting from South Haven High School on June 23rd. The organization promotes bicycling as a healthy way of life and provides bicycle education to both cyclists and motorists as well. The unforgettable six day bicycling/camping adventure showcases the great state of Michigan by
bicycling scenic backroads, small cities, towns, and villages. The total
distance of the ride is between 250-300 miles, and daily rides range
30-60 miles, averaging about 50 miles a day.

Horse Trolley Rides
June 12
Free horse-drawn trolley rides sponsored by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation begin on June 12th, weather permitting. The clip-clop of hooves hitting the brick road mingles with the jangling of harnesses as the Gelding team pulls the trolley along the streets of historic downtown St. Joseph, Michigan.
