We have been inundated with record-breaking snow fall this winter! How about you?
We even closed the shop for a few days so we could stay home and bee safe & warm. But what, you may ask, do the Honey Bees do?
I will tell you!
Although there is an expected amount of honey bee loss through the winter, they do mostly survive. They do this by eating up to 30 lbs of honey that is stored in their hive! To generate warmth, they stick together in clusters and move about the hive, eating as they go. This is definitely a case of safety in numbers!
