4 days for a caterpillar to emerge from and egg
10-14 days as a caterpillar munching away on any type of Asclepias
10-14 days as a Chyrsalis turning into a butterfly
2-5 weeks as a butterfly
However, the last generation (early fall), this generation can live up to 8 months as they travel back South and live.
