Diane Grguras
Diane Grguras has a B.S. in Medical Illustration from The Ohio State University and an A.S. in Scientific Illustration from San Bernardino Valley College.  She has worked in graphic design,  illustration, and has taught art classes for adults and children. She has worked in pastel since 1998, mainly in the plein aire tradition.   Her paintings consider the effect of light on color & shape.

“My paintings are an expression of how I see & feel about the natural world.  I appreciate its beautiful diversity, order & logic.  Painting outside has increased my observational skills by letting me see light, color and atmosphere in their true appearance.  It has also provided an awareness of the spiritual quality of both the pastoral and the urban landscape. The idea that each person is unique and important is mirrored in these diverse places.
The artists whose work has been influential for me are Andrew Wyeth, Claude Monet, Wolf Kahn, and the California Impressionists.

Ryan Burke
American Jade sculptor creating organic contemporary designs.
Currently living in Erie, Pennsylvania, Ryan and family moved away from the Central Coast of California in 2017. He started his jade craft in Monterey, California; a place full of inspiration and talented jade artists. The annual Big Sur Jade Festival near Monterey brought North America's top carvers and jade collectors to the area. Inspired by nature's designs and abstract forms, Ryan creates jade sculpture, pendants, and earrings from natural raw Jade stones. Jade is the toughest most durable stone on the planet allowing for an incredible exploration in sculptural form and techniques. Ryan sums it up, "In working this stone, my art draws primal and sacred traditions forward to meld with the modern consciousness."

After a degree in Sculpture, Ryan has studied Jade carving in China from renowned master Master Chu and has worked for the internationally renowned figurative bronze sculptor Richard Macdonald in Monterey, Ca. He has earned two bronze medal awards from China's second largest Jade carving exhibition as well as a 'runner up new carver' distinction at the 2014 Vancouver World Jade Symposium.
