Monteen with Hawk Talk will be visiting our ROSWELL store on Saturday, August 10th, from 12-4pm with Fiona and her new owl, Puck! He is an adorable Northern White-faced Scops Owl, and we can't wait to meet him! Monteen raises funds for her rehab work by doing in person educational ambassador visits, and many of our customers tell us that holding an owl is life changing, especially for kids! For a $10 mouse money donation, you can don a glove, hold them and get your photo taken. Don't miss it!

As we drift into late Summer, seed and suet feeders may slow down some as insects, seeds and berries are more available in nature. But, it's a great time of year to enjoy pollinators--bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and more. Hummingbird feeder action is definitely picking up, and will continue to get busier in August and September. We are still seeing baby birds from later broods, as well as fawns, beautiful butterflies and lots of turtles. New late Summer and Fall garden flags and some fun yard art have arrived in the stores to welcome the next season.
