2024 Grateful Hearts Capital Campaign Progress Update
Image
A HUGE Thank You...
to all who have already given toward the OLC Chapel Beautification Project. Around 200 donors have given nearly $60,000 so far! That is an average of $300 per gift. Along with funds we have carefully saved over the years, we are off to a great start and making progress toward our goal. But...

Image
But we still need help!
Due to the size of this project, this will be an ongoing campaign potentially spanning the next couple years (barring a significant donation!) Please consider joining the effort by making a gift or perhaps pledging a monthly contribution. If 200 people give just $20 each, that would be an additional $40,000. Many hands make light work! Most of all, we ask that these many hands join together in prayer for a successful campaign for Our Lady's Chapel!
Our Lady's Center Marian Shrine is a gift to all of us from people who have long since passed. We are deeply honored to be faithful stewards of their legacy.
Thank you for your generosity!

1,850 Blankets Now Completed & Blessed!
The OLC Blanket Making crew is expecting to reach 2000 completed blankets for Project Linus within the next couple months! What an impressive accomplishment. The colorful, cozy blankets are blessed and distributed to local children in crisis situations. Many beautiful thank you notes have been received from area organizations and individuals illustrating how deeply touched so many people are by this ministry. These easy, no-sew blankets are fun to make. The fabric is pre-measured and cut, and the knots are simple. Come join them on the second and 4th Tuesdays of the month in the OLC Conference room and enjoy lively conversation (and an occasional treat). These photos below are courtesy of Marsha Kessler, Howard County Coordinator for Project Linus. She's a regular attendee at the sessions here at OLC.

Official Rosary of the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress
Exclusive design by Ghirelli. Limited quantities.
This antique gold finish rosary by Ghirelli features glass beads. The Crucifix takes inspiration from the Gospel passage John 15:1-4-5:“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.…. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.” The Centerpiece is a beautiful Monstrance, a replica of the one which will be used at the 10th National Eucharistic Congress to hold the Real Presence of Jesus in the Consecrated Host.  A percentage of the proceeds from sales of this Rosary benefit the National Eucharistic Congress.
