May Crowning of Our Lady
on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima!
Monday, May 13th, 12:00 pm Mass at OLC
Join us for a very special day! We will be hosting a visit of our beautiful local Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima on her feast day, and we will be crowning her with flowers!
This exquisite 48" tall, hand-painted statue with bejeweled crown was special ordered through OLC from Equador by a devoted patron of hers who wishes the statue to visit as many Churches and venues in the area as possible to make Our Lady of Fatima's messages known so that through the recitation of the rosary, and penance, we shall obtain peace for the world.
This statue will already be set up on the altar when we open on Monday, May 13th at 10 am. We will pray the Rosary at 11:30 am and then have the May Crowning directly after noon Mass. Cake will follow in the Conference Room.
All recent First Communicants are invited to come dressed in their gowns and suits!

Look Who Surprised Us with a Visit!
Our dear Fr. Gerard Lynch dropped in earlier this week to surprise us and to shop at what he calls his favorite Catholic bookstore and gift shop. We were all absolutely overjoyed to see him looking so good and feeling so much improved that he was able to drive himself over. He wants to express his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been praying for him as he recovers from surgery. He said your prayers have been working and that, amazingly, he hardly had any pain through it all. Fr. Gerard has been our regular Monday noon Mass celebrant since he stumbled upon us a couple years ago, new to the area and dealing with a flat tire. We can't wait for his return, for he has become quite beloved to us all. Please continue to lift Fr. Gerard up in your prayers as he prepares to begin a round of radiation to destroy any remaining cancer next week. What an inspiration he is for all of us with his gentle nature, abandonment to the Divine Will, and indomitable sense of humor.
While Father Gerard is undergoing treatment, we have been blessed to have Fr. Greg Rapisarda filling in as our Monday priest. We are so very blessed that he offered to help us out.
