The Dragonfly Shops & Gardens is a fascinating mix of great finds, hidden treasures and affordable prices. Converted to a retail store & studio, the vintage 1920’s home has become a convergence of talent and favorite place to learn a new craft, or find “that perfect” gift for someone special. Stroll through the garden among an ever changing selection of beautiful succulents, as well as distinctive pots, statuary, stepping stones, birdbaths, and garden art. You'll see most likely see workshops taking place under the beautiful shade trees including mosaics, windchimes, terrariums, watercolor, suncatchers, mandalas, planted containers, macrame, metal stamping and so much more.

Step inside to discover Miniature & Fairy Gardens (the largest selection in Orange County), unique gifts, jewelry, vintage items, charms, beads & findings and so much more. We also host GREAT birthday parties, special gatherings & fundraisers, so check us out for your next event.

I'm just gonna jump right in...

Truth be told, the last few months have been a bit challenging. Actually, more than a bit. I went down the proverbial rabbit hole, and wasn't sure when I would resurface. I was somewhat prepared for my mom's passing - after all, she was 89, had an incredibly full life, with no regrets. I wasn't so much prepared for the reality of that - the overwhelming emotions that hit like a ton of bricks seemingly out of left field, the memories that are always so fresh, the minutia of daily life without her in it. I'm certainly old enough, with enough life experience to know that this is the cycle of life at it's finest.
And yet - I miss her. HARD!

Anne's father passed away a few weeks ago. Somewhat quickly, without a great deal of notice. He too, had a full life with lots of friends and love and memories. Again, this is where my generation is, in regards to our parents, and how it's supposed to be. And yet - it's gonna take a minute.

So... it's Spring! In all it's glory. A time for renewal, and a time to move forward. Thank you! Thank you! We've always known that we have amazing customers, and that people, by nature are REALLY good. That's never been more prevalent lately. Thank you for your love, your support, your encouragement and your words of wisdom. We're taking it ALL in.

A few new things...
You all definitely noticed the changes we're making in the shop. We've reimagined the front room entirely. It's a place to sit down, relax, and get creative...and grab a delicious cup of coffee. You can come to the shop anytime, and complete any number of quick projects. Right then, right there. Choose from our necklace bar, stringart, build a terrarium, make an airplant display, color, and so much more. New projects are added often.
And, as always - pot your succulents or fairy garden at our planting bench.
Our customers have the best imaginations!

Our new hours will give us a chance to unwind and get creative with you. We're planning several evening workshops. Some classes are specific, some are the "flavor of the month" and some are open to whatever you want to do.
