Everyone gets excited when the eagles are here. Seeing them soar above you is breathtaking.
BUT there are local residents who are NOT so stoked ...

Eagles are opportunistic feeders and while visiting the park, find no shortage of fish to eat! BUT when you're on top of your food chain, you certainly don't have to work as hard. Stealing from other, smaller hawks is quite common!

Osprey and hawks are usually on top of the world in a saltmarsh. Once they catch a fish, they have something that the top predator wants! When the big guys are around, you notice the osprey hunting faster and flying lower with their catch.
Little less confident &
a little more cautious!
