Subject: End of the Year Celebration (May GMM)

Ladies come out on Tuesday, the 17th to celebrate the end of our 90th Anniversary year, and ring in the 91st; and how better to do that than at our End of the Year Celebration! The meeting will be at The Westwood Club (6200 West Club Lane). There will be so much to celebrate, the tag line "Awards, Announcements, and Applause" says it all! Can you really imagine not wanting to celebrate all we have done this year, and all of what is to come for the Junior League of Richmond?!?!?! You know you do not want to miss this celebration (and you can get one more GMM credit)!

Committee Chairs, NMAs, AMAs, and VPs - Have you submitted a Member Spotlight yet? Remember this is your chance to showcase some of the women on your committee! Everyone loves to see their name in the spotlight, and in this case, they would be profiled in the eCat, on Facebook and on Instagram. If you haven't submitted a Member Spotlight nomination, ask yourself - why not? It's a great way for leaders in the League to engage our membership and help our general membership get to know other members in the League. Plus, you can showcase a little about your committee (what the committee does, is it fun, etc)! Click here to answer a few questions and submit your nominations! |

Jay Ell Alexander, New Member

Meet New Member, Jay Ell Alexander!! If you haven’t met her yet, you need to. She is a New Member in the Junior League and she rocks! Her New Member Advisor, Shannon Vaughn, says that "Jay Ell is an enthusiastic new member. Even after finishing all of her requirements she continues to go above and beyond not only in the League, but in the Richmond and surrounding area community!”

She resides on the northside with her husband and owns her own PR consulting firm. While she isn’t working or actively serving the League, Jay Ell can be found at another great non-profit, Girls on the Run of Greater Richmond, an organization dedicated to young girls interested in running. Jay Ell is an avid runner, having completed her first full marathon just 2 years ago. She is also active with the Urban Young Professionals in Richmond and the PR Society of America. Whew! That’s a lot, Jay Ell. She also loves to shop and travel (her favorite city is Miami), and she has a weakness for Chipotle! Yum!
